Drum bump flanging / curling machine
A sustainable machine able to perform very strong production steps.
The drum bump flanger is a semi-automatic machine able to flange both ends of a welded drum. After flanging the edges, the drum will have a stronger construction and will be easier to move through the facility.
The flanging step is also a preparation for attaching the top and bottoms of tight head steel drums. After the drum is flanged, the drum top will be attached by a seam (This can be done by a Verborg Lid seamer).
For open head steel drums, this machine also has a curling option, allowing the top edge of the open head drum to be created, while still flanging the bottom. The same way as a tight head drum.
Flanging / curling equipment is quickly changeable and self centering, making this machine easy to be used for the operator while still providing a maximum throughput.
This machine has a strong construction and a hydraulic system, allowing strong and controlled movements to be performed. These are necessary for a good result during the flanging / curling step.
