Details:

The conical roller rolls the viscid caramel from the extruder into a uniform slice. The roller is placed into the linear direction of the extruder flow. The uniform slice of caramel is notched and chopped into tablets by rotating knives.

Due to the conical shape of the roller and the swift roller movements, there's no friction between the roller and the caramel.
