Helium accumulation leak tester – gas valves

Fully automatic leak testing at maximum precision and speed.

This standardised machine is designed to leak test smaller products in-line. By using the Helium accumulation testing method, this machine can reach precision levels up to <2.0*10^-5 [mbar*L/sec]. With the ability to test 2 products at the same time, the machine is able to reach a high test capacity level.

In the project this machine was initially designed for, the product used were a wide variation of gas valves (pictured below). By using a robotic arm, the input/output of the machine was automated. The gas valves were automatically (dis-)connected to the machine after being placed by the robot.
