Drum leak testing systems.
Aside from automated production solutions for industrial packaging, Verborg Engineering has also a specialisation in automated leak detection systems. For steel drums, several leak detection systems have been realised over the years.
End Of Line machine.
The fully automatic end of line machine caps newly produced steel drums, while preparing them for the final quality check. This assembly line consists of different operating stations designed and produced by Verborg Engineering.
Drum bump flanging / curling machine.
The drum bump flanger is a semi-automatic machine able to flange both ends of a welded drum. After flanging the edges, the drum will have a stronger construction and will be easier to move through the facility.
Weld Flattening Machine.
This machine has been made for several open head and tight head drum manufacturers. It’s purpose is to flatten the weld-seam at the top edge of the drum shell after the weld has been applied.
Intermediate Bulk Container (IBC) loading unit.
This distribution system is a result of a custom-made project for an IBC-manufacturer. It’s purpose is to distribute inner containers from one supply line over 2 layers of 4 conveyor units.
Steel drum lid (de-)stacker.
This lid stacker is specially made for maintaining a continuous workflow on high capacity, while still being approachable by operators at the same time. With it’s safe and smart design, this machine will not interfere with the flow of the production line in which it is placed. This machines comes in 2 versions: Stacking and destacking of tight head tops. It is also customizable for similar products like lids for open head drums.
Vertical drum seaming machine.
This machine is built for automatically seaming the lids on top of a tight head steel drum (or TH-drum). The design comes in two versions: Standalone (semi-automatic) or in-line (fully automatic).
